A pharmacy isn’t just a pill packing fulfillment operation. It’s also a clinic that provides essential services to support the treatment stage of every healthcare journey. It is important to remember that with every pharmacy or health services closure, there’s thousands upon thousands of chronically ill people who will lose access to these essential services. This trend will only go up as the emphasis on “quantity over quality” in healthcare dominates the agenda of our current public health infrastructures.
