But here’s the thing—someone can still be perfect for your company. That's different. Let’s stop pretending we’re searching for mythical creatures and start focusing on real humans who bring real value. Keep it real, people! And now for the perfect “unicorn” candidate post: This is a PSA to all hiring managers now that we've clarified that the perfect “unicorn” candidate doesn’t exist! We’ve all been there, writing job descriptions asking for 10 years of experience in a program that’s been out for two, someone who’s creative yet data-driven, and can somehow do everything at once. Instead of chasing these mythical creatures, maybe we should focus on real people who are capable, adaptable, and have room to grow. Let’s stop hunting for unicorns and start building teams with talented individuals who bring their unique strengths to the table!
