    Activities and Societies: Brookdale Environmental Club, President, Vice President and Secretary - Planned club camping trips, educational day trips (Liberty Science Center, Museum of Natural History), Clean Water Action's 29th Annual Conference, "Science Mondays" hosted by the Brookdale Environmental Club where the Sierra Club had their meetings, and a Student Symposium on Clean Water in Africa, in which the Environmental Club received an award for "Global Citizenship".

    Dean's List - Fall 2013 and Spring 2015. In the spring of 2015, I participated in a project-based learning class to gain credit for an Environmental Science class, where we did a project to restore Brookdale's Lincroft Campus unmaintained rain gardens, originally planted by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension.

    Reforestation Volunteer in Ecuador

    Fundraised my way to Ecuador along with ~30 other students from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry to participate in a reforestation project on the coastal dry forest in San Clemente and Bahía de Caráquez. We learned about the tragic effects that El Niño has in this area, as well as massive deforestation that occurs all over Ecuador. We worked with local school environmental groups to plant seeds into recycled plastic water bottles, and planted over 1,000 native trees.
