It is very difficult to believe someone who you know has blatantly lied to you. The article below is a prime example and it is from what used to be a somewhat credible news source. This is a perfect example of why most countries won’t allow pharmaceutical companies to advertise on media outlets. What happens is Big Pharma buys most of a network’s advertising space (how networks make money). Then Big Pharma pushes an agenda through the news like the propaganda piece posing as news below! If the news outlet doesn’t want to do the story, the advertiser (Big Pharma) threatens to buy less advertising. You get the rub, right! Our news is bought and paid for! As real as Batman! The article is poorly written but the message is obvious. The most insidious being that Kratom somehow causes opiate addiction! Addicts turn to Kratom to wean themselves off opiates. Just look it up! Our healthcare industry is worse than any mob run black market drug operation! Pull back, take a look and tell me I’m wrong! Thank you, Stephanie Cirami for this honor! Within 5 minutes of talking to any person, I can identify if that person is operating from a place of worthiness or unworthiness. We live in a society that does a great job downplaying and sometimes even removing human potential altogether. This society is over-competitive and focused on “being the best” academically, athletically, musically, and artistically without teaching us how to self-actualize and reach our highest potential. In other words, we live in a society that kills our dreams, which is why many people work jobs they hate “just to survive” or “just for the paycheck.” They are there working, but they are not there. In our society, we don’t care to see women win, so women become afraid to share their achievements with the world. They prefer to shy away because it is safer and more secure. Our subconscious mind is wired to “follow the crowd” in a socially acceptable manner. But contrary to this, it is also wired to fiercely and brazenly follow its dreams and desires (funny thing our brain is). So, I became a writer because I was tired of seeing people like me suffer. We all experience many problems. However, the solutions to those problems are straightforward; we don’t see them because the noise of unworthiness and disempowerment clog our ability to listen to our inner voice. To me, this recognition is not just an award; it is a responsibility to empower women and men equally as equal human beings. I want to see every woman march around like the fierce, confident, unstoppable force of beauty she is. I want to see every woman share and celebrate her accomplishments loudly. You are allowed to be whole; you are allowed to be human, and you are allowed to make mistakes. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to hide your accomplishments for anyone else’s ego. It is time to wise up and rise. We must wake up to the problems we, as a society, have created. I don’t care about accolades and recognition; I care about people not suffering so badly anymore because I know what it’s like to feel so deeply. I know what it is like not to be seen or heard, to feel invisible, alone, unworthy, unloved, unsupported, and even hated.
