What are the best practices for collaborating with recruitment, training, and development functions?
Recruiters should be included in the design of new processes to provide feedback and recommendations. Without recruiter input, new processes may be less effective. In my experience, involving recruiters from the beginning leads to smoother rollouts and better overall adoption. When recruiters are not involved, new processes may not meet the needs of the team, leading to inefficiencies or suboptimal results. For example in previous roles Recruiters were involved to create a new interview process and the roll out went fairly smoothly vs at same company a new interview process was implemented (due to growth) and the Recruiting group was not involved and the rollout was rocky and less much less adoption and resistance with hiring managers.
