Publications

  • Effect of Steel bracings in Steel Structure

International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research

The research paper is published in Global Journal of Enterprise Information System (GJEIS). The Study is focused on behavior of structure to resist lateral load for four types of bracing which are Diagonal bracing, Inverted V type bracing, V type bracing and X type bracing.Parameter compared includes Base Reactions, Maximum Displacement of Member, Nodal Displacements and Nodal Rotation for a fixed base steel structure.

    See publication
  • COMPARISON OF CO-CENTRIC BRACING SYSTEM SUBJECTED TO WIND LOADING

International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology

The paper is published in Volume: 03 Issue: 11 | Nov -2016 and includes the investigation of co-centric lateral load resisting system provided to a tower with the bracing provided to all bays and floors. Analysis using STADD.Pro was carried out for comparing design factors such as Maximum Axial Force in braced member, Storey Displacement and Storey Drift.
