Since 2017, Holy Cross School has hosted a fundraising event, "The Cabaret" featuring Geoff Poor, David, Thies, and Bobby Poynton. I was asked to join the board for planning and to lead fundraising.

Community Plus Federal Credit Union is a credit union with a low income rating. This means that they are able to provide loans and financial assistance to those who would not typically qualify. I was a board member. We provided direction on all aspects of the credit union, from hiring and firing decisions, to marketing and new business direction.

See projectThe Clean It Forward campaign was a promotion we ran through Facebook. We asked fans to nominate their favorite non-profit organization that they felt was the most deserving of a $20,000 donation and cleaning makeover from our Grime Fighter team. We received almost 30,000 nominations for non-profits. Our top 5 finalists were the Hudson Valley SPCA, Huckleberry House – a center for homeless and runaway youth in Columbus, Ohio; the Boys and Girls Club of Harrison County Indiana; the Milwaukee…
The Clean It Forward campaign was a promotion we ran through Facebook. We received almost 30,000 nominations for non-profits. Our top 5 finalists were the Hudson Valley SPCA, Huckleberry House – a center for homeless and runaway youth in Columbus, Ohio; the Boys and Girls Club of Harrison County Indiana; the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative; and the Free Clinics of Iowa – an organization that provides free medical services in Des Moines. The Hudson Valley SPCA won almost 13,000 votes and the grand prize. Please see the video for more information and to see the Grime Fighter team in action.

In a partnership between the Canadian Government and Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, 20 MBA students across Mexico and the US are selected each year to participate in the Canadian Leadership Orientation Program. In a partnership between the Canadian Government and Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, 20 MBA students across Mexico and the US are selected each year to participate in the Canadian Leadership Orientation Program. The goal of the program is to foster stronger business relationships between the US, Mexico, and Canada through educating future business leaders. The program consisted of presentations by members of Parliament, professors, business leaders, and other major leaders, including the US Ambassador to Canada; on-site visits of historical landmarks and major corporations; networking dinners and receptions with business and political leaders.
