Makes the recruitment process so much more seamless when candidates can just check the times that you have available and what works with their schedule! Keeps you organized with canceled interviews, and reschedules, and even lets you add padding breaks in between to avoid overbooking!

I provide a deal if insights on this. You want to research the company, jot down some questions and answer them. Why this organization? What is it about the company that stands out to you? Are the values resonating with yours? I would also like to add, please do your homework. Company research (products the company is offering, revenue, services, their competitors, etc) How do your skills and align with the role Metrics - STAR method (even with 24 hours you can do it)! Compensation Be transparent with the recruiter.

I believe that following up after a networking event is huge. If you connected with a specific individual (say a recruiter), and you got their information. Send an email, follow up, ask for a coffee chat to gain more insights if they’re available. Networking is so important, personalized messages are a must to ensure you’re taking a personable approach.

Definitely take a deep breath. Think about what you’re going to say and how you will be showcasing your skills- it’s ok to take a moment. I find that if you’re reading off some of your notes, word by word it sounds too rehearsed. Be authentic and be yourself, at the end of the day we want someone who can have an organic, fluid conversation. Always remember that finding ways to showcase your experience with examples is a great way to share what you have on your resume!

Before you start thinking about salary negotiations, please do the following: -Market research: Websites like Glassdoor, Fishbowl, Indeed, Reddit, etc. These sites will allow you to have visibility on similar roles from similar companies. How does this help? You can find salary insights, culture information, details about the organization, etc. -What makes you stand out from other candidates? What can YOU bring to the table that stands out from all the other applicants who are in the final stages? -Be upfront with your recruiter. Do not wait for an offer to negotiate 50K on a salary you had shared with them during a phone screen. Be transparent.

Rewarding referrals is a huge incentive. This does not only motivate internals to refer potential candidates, most of the time they are passive and well-qualified. Does being a referral get you a straight pass to being hired? No, but it does help get your foot in the door when it comes to at least interviewing.
