Ask your client to prioritize their desired outcomes. Then with clear prioritization, you can review and size the effort required for each goal. Using the Agile approach will work to solve the overall problem, not just tech resourcing.

What i find helpful is to own your mistake and explain how you have uncovered the root cause and what your prevention plan is for next time

Business relationships thrive when both parties offer valuable insights, introductions, advice, etc. But most importantly, business relationships begin with trust and like personal relationships, it’s best if you have a lot in common, aligned incentives but a different approach to achieving the goal.

Strategic setbacks are inevitable for most companies over a long horizon. After you use tried and true Lean Six Sigma tools for diagnostics and root cause analysis, the critical metric to evaluate is Revenue. Revenue is the cure for all evils. As long as you are generating sufficient revenue, you can pivot. Otherwise, priority number 1, 2 and 3 is to drive revenue generation. Learning from challenges like a strategic setback is a gift and you should aim to learn & grow above and beyond where you were previously. Post setback growth is a stepping stone to excellence!

Look for frequent content creators who share value- add insights in their function or industry. 2. Keep it very simple. Simplicity is genius.
