Did you know that: Inclusion efforts have been central to our work since inception as we intentionally invite underrepresented young people and reach underserved communities. • Nearly a quarter of 2023 participants (24%) came from at-risk or distressed communities, based on the Economic Innovation Group’s Distressed Communities Index. • In 2023, 47% of participants were racially diverse and 38% were girls. • More than 60% of chapters are providing opportunities specifically for girls. • More than 90% of chapters are serving young people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. • More than half of the schools offering First Tee programming are Title I, reaching a significant number of students from low-income families.
