    This case study provides a profile of a small privately run coffee shop on the University of La Verne campus. The authors’ goal is to investigate the issues and challenges surrounding a failing business in the food service industry. Using the data provided, writers are challenged to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, and craft an actionable marketing strategy to increase short-term sales and long-term customer loyalty.
