In June, The Biden-Harris Administration announced the release of updated #Climate #Adaptation Plans developed by federal agencies and departments. In a new blog post from GCC, Adaptation Director Joshua Saks explains how these plans set a fantastic example for #local and #state #governments. GCC reviewed plans from #federal agencies including the US Departments of Agriculture, Environmental Protection, Interior, and others, and found that the plans are moving from risk assessment to actions encouraging risk mitigation across hazards and locations. https://lnkd.in/eQRJJiGV

As Hurricane Beryl crashes into the Texas coast, we're reminded that while the immediate impacts are dire, the long term consequences can be equally disastrous. In this piece, Michael T.
