“I have known Cheryl for 15 years. First as a grad assistant at the Wasserman Center for Career Development, where I saw her professional and leader who I aspired to be like, and then as a colleague in the same department, having the pleasure of working with her in many similar teams, committees and projects. Throughout the years, I have always been impressed by Cheryl's true passion and concern for students, their success, and their career satisfaction. She is a great example of what an effective career coach is, and usually receives accolades, from students and colleagues alike, on her career coaching acumen. She currently leads the Wasserman's Coaching Cross-Functional Group, providing a space for budding career coaches and higher ed professionals to learn from each other about counseling techniques, diversity and inclusion considerations when coaching diverse student populations, self-awareness of coaching strategies, and many other helpful skills necessary to succeed in the counseling field. I consider Cheryl to be a top notch career coach, higher education practitioner, and helpful thoughtful partner. After so many years of working together, I also consider her a mentor and good friend. I would recommend Cheryl for any role where suberb coaching, strategic, and teamwork skills are needed. She is also a pleasure to work with, and a great team contributor!”
