Projects

  • CleanCAst

    -

We created a carbon intensity forecasting model for California's electrical grid, CleanCAst. We show that using modern data science tools, we can create a 96-hour carbon intensity forecast that meets or exceeds state-of-the-art in published papers.

  • Question Generation with Different Datasets, Training Strategies, and Evaluation Metrics

    -

We explored question generation by creating two transformer-based encoder-decoder models, training and testing those models on multiple datasets, and evaluating their predictions using lexical similarity-focused and semantic similarity-focused evaluation metrics with two colleagues. Our results and analysis are detailed in our paper.
