The digital capabilities of the public and #health and #careprofessionals could be a major barrier to the #digitisation of #healthservices, according to the findings of a new HIQA - Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) survey. The National Engagement on Digital Health and Social Care, undertaken in partnership with the Department of Health and the Health Service Executive (HSE), found that the public is ready to embrace #digitaltechnologies in #healthcare but professionals believe the #ICT skills of #patients will be a major challenge. The survey was conducted in the context of EU targets to provide all citizens with electronic access to their #medicalrecords by 2030 and the bedding down of the European Health Data Space. Of the 1020 professionals surveyed, 88 per cent said an #onlinehealthrecord will help people be better informed about their health. However, 32 per cent were concerned about the public’s readiness to interact digitally and 36 per cent expressed concern that the digital delivery of health care would negatively affect their relationship with patients or clients.

Abstract The statement of cash flows is widely recognized as a link between the balance sheet and the income statement. The initial step in such analysis involves considering the broader context. While literature reviews are valuable for historical perspectives, particularly when sources extend beyond the recent three-year period, it is crucial to align historical data with the current context of a company. Furthermore, the PESTLE model is frequently employed by analysts, researchers, and practitioners to gain insights into environmental factors affecting an industry. A detailed industry analysis is then imperative. Although a SWOT analysis is provided in the case study, it is often insufficient for acquiring comprehensive insights. Strategic analysis is completed by applying the Global Value Chain framework, which examines the overall industry structure and interactions. It is instrumental in linking strategic recommendations to an organization's mission, vision, and strategy. #healthcare #strategy

Very interesting, insightful study. Flare Capital Partners AI in healthcare is hype. Most AI stories for healthcare are tech advancements. Not real clinical advancements or fitting into their workflows, bearing few. MedTech Innovators face these paradox. 1.Adoption requires Evidence. But evidence comes only from adoption. Clinical data can not be synthetic data for good AI. 2.Regulatory, validation requires money. But investors require regulatory, validation. 3.MedTech need faster adoption, but healthcare is slower among every profession, a cut-throat industry. They won't use it, if it is more than 2-3 mouse clicks. https://lnkd.in/gUh8sDHe

My three key approaches to integrating virtual care/digital health with core healthcare are: 1. Partnerships 2. Partnerships 3. Partnerships Concert Health is a great example. Providing quality healthcare truly takes a village—this is not a game for silos. Without strong partnerships and deep service integrations, virtual care risks remaining just a novelty.

This commentary describes the benefits and potential of robust, modern interoperability between health care and public health systems, defines key policies and technology activities that will drive toward a future state of a highly connected public health and health care data ecosystem, and summarizes potential challenges that must be overcome.”

Digital health extends beyond the confines of traditional care to involve interactive, patient-centered solutions—it’s a fundamental shift in how health systems operate. It encompasses evolving technology, processes, and organizational culture to enhance patient engagement and care delivery. This journey requires ongoing, iterative development rather than a one-time project.
