    The Supreme Court of Texas has declared that an insurer may properly deny coverage when the insured fails to timely provide the insurer with a copy of the complaint, even if the insured was unaware of the policy’s existence. See Nat'l Union Fire Ins. Co. v. Crocker, 246 S.W.3d 603 (Tex. 2008). This frequently occurs in the context of Commercial General Liability (CGL) policies which include all employees who were acting in the course of and scope of their employment as “additional insureds”…

    -

    Bayou Fuels is a pioneering facility located in Natchez, Mississippi which will produce 36 million gallons per year of negative-emission transportation fuels (avoiding over 1.3m tons of CO2 per year) using a combination of biogenic feedstock, biomass power and carbon capture and sequestration.

    Constructed technology demonstration unit to process post-MRF MSW into fully reformed syngas. Technology was successfully proven at a commercial demonstration scale.

    Designed a significant capacity expansion of paraxylene unit in Texas City, Texas complex. Basic process includes a "hot side" reactor which converts aromatics into mixed xylenes (PX, MX, OX), a "cold side" which crystallizes out PX at cryogenic temperatures, and a massive amount of heat integration to minimize utility consumption.

  • Ineos (Solutia) Acrylonitrile Project (AN-7)

    -

    Brownfield unit acrylonitrile unit including steam turbine cycle and waste heat boiler in Chocolate Bayou, Texas. Primarily performed turnover system definition, system walkdowns, and project close-out.

  • Bayer Dinitrotoluene (DNT) Plant

    -

    New greenfield unit that was expansion to existing Bayer Baytown facility. Required construction of a sulfuric acid concentration unit to support the main process. DNT is a highly specialized chemical with very specific care and handling requirements.
