In late June, the DMI Vets employee resource group (ERG) hosted a talk on "Leveraging Military Skills for a Lasting Career." The session was led by DMI Vets members Victor Giordano, Senior Director Project Management, National Security, and Michael Grey, Senior Project Manager, National Security. The talk aimed to help both veterans and hiring managers recognize the value of military experience in civilian careers. “One of the strongest traits for many veterans, along with problem-solving, is adaptability—to be able to pivot on a dime and think quickly, to be able to eliminate problems or at least find what the source of a problem is, and identify a solution to that problem,” said Michael.
