I’m very proud to announce that AP4 has once again been recognized as the Sovereign Wealth Fund of the Year at the Sustainable Investment Awards! I truly believe that our model, which fully integrates sustainable investments across all parts of the organization—most notably the investment teams—is the only way to truly leverage sustainable investing. Our global equities portfolio significantly reduces its carbon footprint by much more than half, and we use forward-looking carbon metrics to align the portfolio with 2-degree targets. Despite having made significant progress in integrating sustainability into our investment process, our work continues. In systematic equities, we aim to integrate scope 3, green opportunities, and physical risks moving forward. Our main global equity portfolio has outperformed its benchmark by over 14% since inception. This demonstrates that with a well-structured and efficient portfolio, it is possible to implement a sustainable equity strategy while still achieving significant alpha. https://lnkd.in/dJBSgNvM

BDA Partners is pleased to announce that its clients, Badgers Investment, YJA Investments and HL D&I Halla, have successfully sold their stakes in Halla Encom Corp. to E&F PE, a Seoul-based private equity firm, focused on traditional industries such as waste management and construction materials. BDA was the exclusive financial advisor to the sellers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. This is BDA’s fifth transaction in the industrial sector for Korean clients since 2021. Halla Encom, headquartered in Hwaseong-si, is one of Korea’s largest ready-mix concrete manufacturers, operating 15 manufacturing plants and four aggregate sites across the nation. Following the transaction, E&F PE plans to leverage its expertise in the aggregates sector to carry out additional bolt-on acquisitions of aggregates sites to achieve further growth.
