📣 Introducing ClimateJobs.AI - Your Climate Career Companion https://climatejobs.ai I launched Green Jobs Network 15 years ago with a simple mission: to make it easier for people who want to use their passions and skills to make an impact. This mission came from my own experience facing obstacles in searching for a job that would allow me to take action on issues important to me. One of my early initiatives at Green Jobs Network was teaming up with INFORUM, a division of The Commonwealth Club to produce a program in 2009 entitled "Getting Your Green Dream Job." This event included a panel presentation and career fair with employers, recruiters, and other organizations. The demand for tickets exceeded expectations (it sold out and we had to turn people away) and received media coverage. You can learn more of this story is at https://lnkd.in/gVRvkZUD My early initiatives like this one made it clear that was a large community of people like me who wanted to make a difference and could benefit from greater support in their career exploration and job search. This is one of the perspectives that has guided my work over the years and I've aimed to provide services that could serve this large community of impact job seekers. At the same time, because each person's needs are unique I've wanted to offer more personalized services, yet keeping in mind the importance of being able to deliver services to job seekers at scale. Enter the AI revolution. Like many of you, I've been following developments such as the launch of ChatGPT with a mix of emotions. I've also been working to learn as much as possible and see how these technologies can be used to take action on issues that I care about. Based on my research it became clear to me that AI tools can be used to support green and climate job seekers, including providing more personalized services at scale. Accordingly, I'm happy to announce the launch of ClimateJobs.AI: Your Climate Career Companion. The initial release includes: 🌱 Robin, Your AI Climate Career Coach. You can have career chats with Robin and receive job search tips. 🌱 Job Employer Ideas. You can receive ideas for employers and types of jobs in sustainability and climate that match your skills. 🌱 Quick Cover Letters. Writing the first draft is often the hardest part. You can use ClimateJobs.AI to quickly create a cover letter based on the job, your experience, and the hiring organization. 🌱 Climate x AI Startups. There are people who want to use AI to address climate challenges. You can discover some of the startups that are working at the intersection of AI and climate.
