Did you know that roughly 90% of hydraulic system failures are caused by contamination? Particles not visible to the naked eye can cause production to come to a halt. This leads to expensive downtime and costly repairs. While there are many ways contaminants find their way into your oil, the 3 main sources include: 1. Built-in: Contaminants created during the assembly and building of new equipment. From weld splatters, casting sand, and machining debris these contaminants can cause havoc from the start 2. Ingression: Job sites often come with rugged terrain which may include dust, dirt, and sand. Fine particles as well as moisture from condensation can end up in your hydraulic system and do damage 3. Generated: Abrasion can occur during normal operating conditions which causes tiny particles to shave off of surfaces from rubbing together as another contamination culprit Whatever the source of the contaminant, Zinga Filtration offers solutions that keep your equipment where it belongs... on the job site instead of a maintenance shop.
