We have received Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited team in our corporate headquarters! The Zelestra team led by Leo Moreno (CEO) , Jose Luis Garcia Perez (Latin America CEO) and SAJAY K V (India CEO) met with R P Gupta (Chairman & Managing Director SECI) and his delegation. Together, we visited our 50 MW Tracker based Solar PV project in Spain and also a CSP project. Through this visit, we could provide the SECI team with valuable insights into Zelestra’s best practices for operation and maintenance (O&M) as well as health, safety, and environment (HSE) aspects. We could also share Zelestra’s plans for future growth and our dedication to advancing clean energy access in India while supporting communities and the environment to meet its decarbonization goals. We have officially connected the 108 MW La Mata solar plant to the grid in Colombia! This is the our second project in Colombia. Jose Luis Garcia Perez, Zelestra’s CEO in Latin America stated, “This milestone is critical for Zelestra as we pursue a very ambitious plan for the region to meet its decarbonization goals. We have been present in Chile and Peru for many years, and now we are consolidating our presence in Colombia, a country where we aim to grow in the coming years.” Zelestra is the largest independent generator of non-conventional renewables in Colombia and has also recently connected the 144 MW La Unión project in Colombia. We are happy to announce we just closed an additional €225 million for our corporate finance facility, taking our total corporate debt to €535 million. This transaction is a major demonstration of confidence by our financing partners and from the market on the strength of our balance sheet and the credibility of our growth plans. We are growing aggressively, aiming to achieve 8 GW of signed solar, wind, battery and green hydrogen by 2026, with 5.5 GW of projects in operations or construction, and this year is going faster than expectations; in 2024 we are in a position to beat our annual targets by a good margin and finish the year with 2 GWs of new growth. We have closed an increase of EUR 225 million to iour EUR 310 million sustainability-linked loan signed in 2023. The funds, of EUR 535 million in total, will be deployed to build new #renewable #energy generation and storage assets in our five strategic markets –South Europe, Germany, Latin America, India and the United States. The facility enables Zelestra to further progress on our purpose to make #decarbonization a reality for our partners. Building Collaboration and Cooperation for Better Health and Safety! We're thrilled to share the fantastic success of our recent health and safety meeting with our contractor partners. This important gathering brought together leaders from over 20 contractor companies, including their executives and occupational safety and health managers.   The goal of this meeting was to define common strategies and boost cooperation, ensuring a safer and healthier work environment for everyone involved. This was also our first event after launching our new brand, Zelestra.   Our Chief Operations Officer, John Paul Larraneta shared words that resonated deeply with us: "A strong leadership in each person towards Risk Prevention ensures high risk sensitivity and develops the behavior we seek."
