We’re thrilled to announce that the Nestucca High School CTE project was recognized as a Top Project by Daily Journal of Commerce Oregon. This new Career and Technical Education space features an expansive shop for welding and industrial manufacturing, a flex space with a woodshop, wet lab, agricultural science labs, and small engine repair counters, as well as a weight room utilized by student athletes and physical education classes year-round. Congratulations to the Oregon Tech Baja SAE team on their 16th overall finish after a grueling 4-hour endurance race last weekend. The dedication and hard work of the team culminated in the best finish in OIT history. SAE collegiate design events stand as the largest engineering design competitions in the world and are always chock-full of fierce competition, with this year’s event featuring over 70 teams. Over spring break, the main entry doors to Butte Falls High School were replaced with new double doors designed to replicate the original entryway. The new entrance adds a security camera, a two-way communication system, and remote access controls to facilitate authorized entry. We’re proud to have worked alongside the district to help them secure funding for this and other improvements through various state and federal grants. #zcs #structuralengineering #securevestibule #buttefalls
