Please join us in congratulating Lisa Epperson on 20 years with Team YWCA OKC!!! Lisa is an AMAZING advocate! Over her tenure at the agency she has served in a multitude of positions including Director of Shelter Operations. Lisa often shares that what she loves most is working directly with survivors every day. In her time with YWCA OKC, Lisa has personally helped hundreds of survivors with safety planning, crisis intervention, legal and court support, education and support groups as well as a myriad of other services. She is the guru for recognition and responding to stalking, and often helps train new staff on crisis intervention and group facilitation. Lisa, thank you for sharing your time and talents with us. Today, Jan Peery received the District Attorney Appreciation Award, by a unanimous vote, from the Oklahoma District Attorneys Association and the District Attorneys Council.
