✨ It’s been over a week and I’m still reminiscing about the New York City Imagine Awards!! It is my favorite night of the year for the non-profit community. It was a heartwarming evening, and I love seeing all the new connections made in the room. Also, listening to the stories of what non-profits do to help their communities is always a joy, and I never walk away without shedding a few tears. It was great spending the evening with my colleagues: Jennifer Alleva, Eleanor Hume, CPA, MBA, Rachel DeMatteo, CPA, Alexsa Morales/Laurimore, CPA, Theresa Ten Eyck, CPA, Stephen Shiffman, and Yan Zhu. YPTC attended the HBCU Library Alliance Meeting this week. Horace Campbell, MBA and I enjoyed connecting with these dedicated library professionals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We gained valuable insights on the unique needs and challenges facing HBCU libraries. We shared tools to help HBCU professionals better understand and advocate for their financial needs.
