If you’re in New York, you’re headed for a weekend unlike any other. At YARD NYC, we’ve been preparing for it for over a year. Why? It’s the TCS New York City Marathon, of course. A major congratulations to our clients Erika Katz, Rodnell Workman, and Rob Simmelkjaer at New York Road Runners for attracting more signups than ever this year—three of which are our very own YARDees. When NYRR came to us in 2022, we realized the opportunity to show the true power and impact of this event—to put the emotion in motion. Our campaign, “It Will Move You” took the client’s existing language and unearthed its full potential, featuring all the storytelling, humanity, and heart that goes into something as monumental as a marathon. Given the terrible global climate we’re in right now, the marathon is a beautiful reminder of the best parts of people, and what we can do when we come together.
