Celebrating the Power of One.

About us

As Rhode Island’s one public television station, we are the stage for issues that are important to you and our community. As television, we amplify individual voices that might not otherwise be heard. As a non-profit, we bring a unique mission-driven perspective to everything we do. Add your voice, your power of One. Together, we are Rhode Island PBS and - together - we share the power of PBS with Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Thank you! Our place in the community is a unique one, as both a nonprofit organization and a television station. We use the power of noncommercial media to help build a stronger community by: - producing and presenting local independent content about issues our viewers tell us are important to them, - fostering community outreach and connection through civic engagement projects and public events. For you, this represents marketing opportunities that commercial broadcasters and cable networks cannot offer. As a WSBE content underwriter or event sponsor, you do more than buy a flight of spots. You become a partner with us in building a relationship with the community, and the community pays attention. Contact us at 401-222-3636 x339 for more information or to schedule a consultation to tailor a promotion plan to suit your needs.
