Connecting Difference Makers with World Changing Opportunities | Corporate Partnerships at World Vision
There aren’t really words to describe the devastation I witnessed this weekend in Western North Carolina. Homes washed away, trucks flipped upside down, and communities completely displaced. Alongside the devastation, I witnessed radical generosity. Radical generosity of community members giving what they had to others despite losing so much. Radical generosity of nonprofits sharing resources to serve the most needy. Radical generosity of community members volunteering their Saturday to bless others despite facing their own loss. So thankful to work for World Vision USA and work alongside radically generous donors who support our work. 🧡 If you can help, please join us and donate now: https://lnkd.in/gSGBEYrx

World Vision staff is on the ground responding to Hurricane Helene. We've already shipped two truckloads of pre-positioned goods, including hygiene products, clothing, and children's toys, and are coordinating with our local partner network to reach the most vulnerable children and families in affected areas. WAYS TO HELP Companies: Request a branded fundraising page to provide a way for your employees and customers to give (and consider matching any donations that come in). Product donations may also be useful both in this initial response phase, and in future rebuilding phases of relief efforts. You can also make cash grants to support our relief work. World Vision is proud to once again sponsor and participate in the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) NGO Network Conference 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! This forum is an invaluable opportunity for NGOs, government partners, and experts to network, collaborate, and share innovative solutions to combat NTDs, which have been overlooked for far too long. Raising awareness and securing funding to address these diseases is critical to creating a safer, more equitable world, particularly for the most vulnerable populations lacking access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. At World Vision, our commitment to social inclusion, resilience, and justice drives us to engage in meaningful partnerships and advance policies that help eliminate NTDs. We are proud to be a technical partner alongside FHI 360, Helen Keller Intl , Health and Development International, Deloitte, and American Leprosy Missions in USAID’s Act to End NTDs | West Program, which supports NTD elimination and control in 11 countries. Through cross-sector collaboration and health system strengthening, we work closely with health ministries and NTD programs to integrate NTD policies and programming within WASH, education, malaria, nutrition, and other health sectors. Our approach fosters sustainable, country-owned interventions for lasting impact. We are excited to support NTD Technical Specialist Bougou Coulibaly World Vision Mali, who is presenting on World Vision’s multi-sectoral work in Mali at the NNN conference, highlighting how our approach is driving meaningful change. Learn more in this blog by World Vision Program Health Manager Kyle Marie J. at https://lnkd.in/e5TrFU3v. Together, we can eliminate neglected tropical diseases and build a brighter future for all! #NNNConference2024 #NTDs #GlobalHealth #WASH #Collaboration #ActToEndNTDs #SustainableDevelopment #SocialInclusion #HealthSystems
