The Women's Search Network was proud to be a partner and supporter of the first-ever International Women in Search Forum at the IESE conference, bringing together about 80 women and men from across the globe. We were energized by powerful insights shared during the sessions, including: Monika Wincel (Solo Searcher, Poland), Pia Surhoff (Partnered Searcher, Germany), and Sophia Secourgeon (Solo Searcher, France), who encouraged us to take the leap and embrace new opportunities. Ivona Butcher (CEO, BEIRE, Czech Republic), Mar Raposo (CEO, Auto-Matic, Spain), and Helena Ahlström (CEO, Frotcom, Portugal), who shared their experiences navigating challenges and seizing opportunities in their leadership journeys. And finally an inspiring session featuring Patricia Riopel, who shared valuable learnings from her journey acquiring and selling her business, in conversation with Lenka Kolarova. A special thanks to the organizers for making this event a reality. The Women’s Search Network is feeling inspired and excited by the growth and support for women in ETA. #WomeninSearch #WSN

Thank you and congratulations to the Stanford Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Peter Kelly and Sara Pidwell Heston on the release of the 2024 Stanford Search Fund Study. Thank you also to all the CEOs and searchers who contributed their data to help make the study complete. The findings from the study help track not only the progress of this evolving asset class but also help expose ETA as a career path to a broader audience. The Women's Search Network is particularly encouraged to see that women represented 17% of all core search funds raised in the last two years, a meaningful and exciting increase from prior years. We have much more work to do, but are excited to keep this momentum going! #SearchFunds #ETA #WSN #womeninsearch #womenentreprenuers
