 On June 6, 2023, we hosted Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz at Foley & Lardner LLP for our Engaged Democracy program. Facilitated by Heidi Furlong, Justice Protasiewicz discussed the judicial branch, her campaign, and the critical importance of trust in our democracy. Justice Protasiewicz emphasized her commitment to personal values during her campaign and the diligence of the Wisconsin Supreme Court in case deliberations.  This event is the first in a series we are hosting to enhance democratic representation. Future programs include a dialogue with Saint Paul’s all-woman City Council and a keynote by Erin Loos Cutraro, founder of She Should Run.
