WISCON Wednesday!! Here is one of our inspection stations with a Zeiss Duramax CMM, and a VICIvision Laser inspection system. There isn't much we can't check right on the shop floor. How it started vs How its going As a company that's been around almost 80 years, you get to see some interesting changes. On the left is an NC tape creator, for creating NC code. This was in our office until the late 80's, and was used to generate NC code via paper tape. This was our first venture into what became CNC machining. The VNC-2000 Manufacturing Control Station. On the right, is our INDEX Virtual Machine, used to used to program our 3 turret twin spindle turning centers. Where we came from vs how its going! Quality has always been at the forefront of what we do, and we've always tried to stay ahead of the technology curve. Back in 1977 we had the Mitutoyo VALIDATOR!! Today, we have 3 Zeiss CMM's, and numerous other high tech inspection tools at our disposal. Interesting fact: We still use the Mitutoyo, we installed a Heidenhain scale on the vertical axis and use it as a large digital depth indicator.
