Her passion led her to co-found uMama, a venture dedicated to providing midwives with personalised, culturally relevant nutritional information for pregnant and postpartum mothers across Africa and Pearly serves as the Global Biotech Revolution Ambassador for Africa as well as being the president of both the Women in Synthetic Biology Africa (WiSBA) and the Student Women Economic Empowerment Program (SWEEP).
