  • Hiring managers often reach out to me on LinkedIn, asking to help them with hiring technical talents. But unfortunately, all they want us to do is find them resources based on the JDs they have prepared.    We're not saying there’s something wrong with this approach because it has been the most common hiring practice among recruiters and hiring managers.   However, we have a different approach to it which is our differentiator. This has helped us to stand out from other recruitment and consulting companies.    At WinningEdge, every time a hiring manager reaches out to us for a requirement, we do not accept and work on a simple JD provided by the client. Instead, we request them for time and set up a discovery call to understand their requirements better.    We do this because we firmly believe that hiring is a collaborative process that involves both the recruiter and the hiring manager. And hence we connect with the hiring managers to understand their requirements better, and we try to gauge the broader picture and how the new resource is going to align with the project and the company’s goal to present the ideal match.    Having sound technical knowledge and years of industry experience sets us apart in finding the right talent for critical technical job roles. While other staffing companies work primarily with a JD and avoid getting into too many lower-level technical details, we leverage our experience and domain knowledge to find the right match for you.    So, if you want to collaborate with us as your next staffing partner, be ready for many relevant technical questions that we may ask you. This will help us find the right talent with the technical knowledge and experience, who perfectly fits your company culture. #recruitment #technologyrecruitment #techjobs #nichemarket #staffingagency #staffing

  • A lot of companies ask us how we can/able to submit good candidates in niche technologies in 2-3 weeks or less. Our solution: constantly building talent pipelines and nurturing them. Our team talks to a lot of candidates using multiple channels like LinkedIn, Job boards, referrals, use the recruiting database, working with third-party vendors, and email marketing. This is a lot of work upfront, an ongoing process, and takes time but a worthwhile investment that has given us positive results. We have assigned team members whose primary role is to engage with active and passive talent on specific technologies daily. During this process, we assess them, provide resume feedback, job search/career tips as needed and showcase some profiles on our platforms. #ITRecruitment #talentpipeline

  • Unfortunately, many companies still approach recruitment as a one-time project. It's like making sales without investing in marketing. To correct this, it is necessary to: 🚀 Transform your recruitment strategy from a one-time effort to a long-term talent acquisition plan, focusing on becoming the preferred workplace for top talent. 🚀 Ensure that strategic employer branding is an integral part of your talent acquisition strategy, as marketing is now essential. 🚀 Shift your approach from project-based thinking to a long-term implementation and monitoring of recruitment and employer branding KPIs. Instead of optimizing your project-based, one-time recruitment process, focus on optimizing the process of attracting and being chosen by top talent. #EmployerBranding #TalentAcquisition

  • There are several advantages to hiring candidates with no experience: Fresh perspective: Candidates with no experience can bring new ideas and unique perspectives to the company. Flexibility: They may be more open to learning new skills and adapting to the company's culture and practices. Low overhead: Candidates with no experience typically have lower salary requirements and may not require as much training or development. Potential for growth: Hiring candidates with no experience can be a way to identify and cultivate future leaders within the company. They could be more likely to be loyal, since they have no other experience to compare it with. They could be more open to trying new things and taking on new challenges. They may have a higher level of energy and enthusiasm for their work. They may be more open to change and new technologies. Overall, hiring candidates with no experience can be a great way to bring new talent into a company and provide opportunities for growth and development.

In the tech world, experience is a term we often use but seldom decode. Here's something we've learned in over 15 years of helping companies find niche talent for the most complex projects. Experience isn't just about the years; it's about the depth. When looking for talent, don't just count the number of years someone has worked. Dive deeper. Look for those who have navigated through tough projects, who have innovated under pressure, and who have a story to tell about their failures and how they bounced back. These stories are gold mines of insight into a candidate's real-world capabilities and potential. Let's redefine experience in our hiring processes. It’s not just about the time spent working; it’s about what was accomplished during that time. Who has impressed you lately with their depth of experience? #hiringprocess #techinterviews
