Nearly a decade ago, we took what was once a clunky eyesore (that forced you to pump crouched down next to the nearest wall socket) and developed the world's first in-bra wearable pump to give mom the freedom she deserves. But we didn’t stop there. We built effective, innovative wearable pumps and designed a high-quality product suite built with the women who use them and their real and often busy lives in mind. Our CEO Sarah O'Leary spoke with Glamour about how our thoughtful, mom-centered products completely redefined not only how women pump, but also how they feel about pumping. Read the full article.

We fight hard for paid family leave. Why? Because every mom (and dad) deserves it. Willow CEO, Sarah O'Leary, talks about why it's critical for parents to have access to paid family leave and the consequences they may face when they don't have the right support from their workplace in a recent article from The Everymom. Thank you Rachel Morgan Cautero for sharing this important message. Read more about what Sarah had to say ⬇

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: moms deserve better. And we’re not just talking about one type of mom… ALL MOMS DESERVE BETTER. 👏 That’s why our product team is currently at the NWA National Conference to join the WIC community in-person to not only celebrate their 50th anniversary, but to learn more about how we can make our pumps more accessible to all moms. We're excited for this first step and can't wait to share more with you! Thanks Andrea Ippolito from SimpliFed for stopping by our booth!

"What I’m most proud of with Willow is that we have pushed the world to think about the new mother as deserving of being the center of the products that are built for her." We're thrilled our CEO, Sarah O'Leary, sat down with Smart Design earlier this week to share Willow's origin story, the challenges many new moms face when breastfeeding, and what we are doing to better support them. The feeding culture in America has changed radically in recent years, and it’s time for the conversation to catch up with the State of Feeding. We partnered with Emily Oster, Bobbie, and SimpliFed to bring you the 2024 State of Feeding report to better equip you and other parents for the journey ahead. Why? According to our newly released report and survey, parents don't have enough support OR education whether breastfeeding, formula feeding, bottle feeding, or combo feeding. In fact, 47% of respondents said they received no support or education on formula, and 38% said they received no support or education on pumping. And, 18% said they received no support or education on breastfeeding. Every parent deserves equal support and education about their feeding choices. This is why we launched Willow - to give moms the freedom to feed on their terms. And, it's why we're introducing our new and first-of-its-kind, all-inclusive baby feeding guide brought to you by a breastfeeding company, a formula company, and a lactation support company. Because moms deserve better. Get the full report and feeding guide at https://lnkd.in/eDMFUHfN

You know we’re in, Bobbie! 👊 1 in 3 Americans do not have access to paid family leave, including mothers after childbirth. This. Must. Change! #WithWillow, parents have access to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, an additional six weeks of four-day transition workweeks at full pay, and extended bereavement time for parents who have experienced a miscarriage. Every parent deserves access to paid family leave. Please share and tag other brands to join the fight to push harder to support parents. Because moms deserve better. #paidleave #workingmoms #parentalleave

Brands, we need your help! Earlier this month, we announced our N.O. Support Grants in partnership with Naomi Osaka. We opened up $580 grants to 50 families who could use some extra support. This is the same amount a parent would get a month if we can pass federal paid leave. All applicants had to do was share their parental leave (or lack thereof) story. We believe that there should be federal paid leave and are actively advocating for it, but until the government steps up, it is on the private sector to support their employees, and in turn, American families. In less than one month, we received over 10,000 grant applications!! That's 10,000 personal accounts from families across the U.S., sharing powerful, vulnerable stories of what $580 would mean to them. They all said they’d use the money in the same ways: to pay rent, to cover diapers, and to pay for food for their kids. Essentials. This is where you come in. While we can't give each of these families a grant, you can help us reach more! We are extending an open call to any brand that wants to join our movement—for any amount ranging from $580 and beyond! Does your company believe in paid leave? Does your brand want to do more? Be part of the coalition making change. To join us, reach out to [email protected] to learn more about this and other ways you can support advocating for federal paid leave. If you’re reading this, tag your favorite mission-aligned brand! *ICYMI: If passed, the Family and Medical Leave Act would give 12 weeks paid leave, job protection, and guarantee a minimum monthly benefit of $580—that’s why each grant is $580. It’s not a solution, but it’s a start.
