Congratulations to Andy Lane on his promotion to Captain! Andy was hired in 2011 and reached the Senior Firefighter professional development designation in 2016, followed by his achievement of Master Firefighter in 2020. Andy has been a consistent and important contributor to our department in several areas, including as a Paramedic, Acting Officer, and several special projects. Andy’s experience, technical expertise, relationships, and passionate study of the craft will serve him well in his new position as Captain. Retired A-Shift Capt. Garrett came to celebrate and pass the baton to Capt. Lane. Congratulations, Andy!
