  • Peggi Walsh dedicated 31 years to medical field, contributing in various roles across points of care at the Physicians Medical Center and in the lab at WMVC. Upon retirement, she pondered her next steps and, motivated by her love for sewing and awareness of community needs, she approached the WVMC Birthing Center with an idea. This idea blossomed into a passion for Peggi, resulting in cherished gifts for families who lacked an outfit for their newborn's first picture and to go home. Each handmade gift, crafted with love, includes a blanket, layette, hat, and sometimes socks and mittens. Peggi, a medical professional turned Santa, seeks no recognition, finding fulfillment in knowing she has brought smiles and love to many families.
