DATCP Secretary Romanski recently attended the National Convention of the American Dairy Goat Association. Wisconsin is the largest producer of fluid goat milk in the country. In fact, we produce enough milk to support several specialty cheese manufacturing plants in the state, one fluid milk processor, and two licensed farmstead cheese producers. #WisconsinDairy #DATCP

DATCP recently attended Sial Paris. Visitors to the Wisconsin Pavilion included U.S. Ambassador Denise Bauer, President and CEO of U.S. Dairy Export Council Krista Hardin, and USDA director David Leishman. Thank you to the partners from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW), Sartori Company, Masters Gallery Foods, Inc., Nasonville Dairy, Chippewa Valley Bean, Old Fashioned Foods, and Marathon Ginseng. The star of the show? A stunning 7-foot-long charcuterie cheese board presented by DFW, featuring Wisconsin’s finest cheeses from Pleasant Ridge, Hooks Cheese, Sartori, Master’s Gallery, Nasonville, Emmi Roth, La Clare, and Carr Valley (tag all). DATCP representatives were at the International Dairy Federation (IDF) World Dairy Summit in Paris, France, and discussed marketing, global sustainability, and animal care topics. DATCP representatives also promoted Wisconsin agriculture and cheeses with sampling at the U.S. Dairy Export Council stand. DATCP’s International Agribusiness Center hosted the Global Exporters Workshop and Producers Symposium at the World Dairy Expo.  Each session had more than 100 attendees from regions including Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, and Latin America. The International Exporters Workshop provided insights into global market access, helping exporters navigate international trade, identify new market demands, and connect with global partners.   Thank you to our partners for their generous support and collaboration. US Livestock Exporters Association, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board, and American Soybean Association. 

DATCP was proud to host a delegation from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan last week as part of a collaboration between Wisconsin and USDA FAS Central Asia. The delegation attended the World Dairy Expo in Madison, visited Wisconsin dairy businesses, and participated in seminars and workshops. These engagements helped foster important connections between Wisconsin exporters and new markets in Central Asia, opening doors for export opportunities and collaborative growth.   #Delegation #WorldDairyExpo #DATCP
