Good for your bum🍑 Great for the world 🌏 100% bamboo & recycled TP 💚 50% of profits donated to help build toilets 🚽
About us
We are one of the fastest-growing eCommerce businesses in Australia (and now the US and UK too!). More than that, we’re one of the country’s fastest-growing social businesses. Who Gives a Crap sells beautiful, forest friendly toilet paper, paper towels and tissues and we donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets for those in need. As much as we love toilet paper, the reason we’re in business is the impact we’re having on the world—To date, Who Gives A Crap has donated over $8 million Aussie dollars to our charity partners, WaterAid, Sanergy, Lwala Community Alliance and Shining Hope For Communities, iDE and WaterSHED. The more innovative the solutions our partners can unlock, the quicker we can help build toilets for the 2 billion people who don’t have them. We have a fully distributed business with all team members working remotely (i.e. from home or a co-working space) most of the time. We currently operate in six time zones with team members across four continents... and we’re just getting started. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences is what makes a strong team. The stronger our team, the closer we are to our mission – toilets and clean water for all. So come join us! We're looking for people of all genders, races, ethnicities, orientations, abilities and disabilities to come sit at our table. The only thing we're a stickler on is species – you have to be a person.

Want to transition to a full-time sustainability role at your workplace? That's exactly what Bernard Wiley did after graduating from the WorkforClimate Academy. When he first undertook the course, Bernie was working in logistics at Who Gives A Crap. But armed with his new knowledge and a whole lot of determination, he soon transitioned into a full-time role in sustainability and helped steward the company's switch to 100% renewable energy, starting with rooftop solar at their warehouses. Bernie tells us how he and his team pulled off an impressive (and cheeky) solar installation that garnered world-wide headlines, and how it's benefited the company since. Not every business starts with the CEO hallucinating, but this one did. Honestly. Simon Griffiths talks about it in this interview with The Australian Financial Review. There are also other interesting tips and ideas that won't land you in the doctor's office, if you're interested. 🗞 Read it here: https://lnkd.in/gmAy9Djg 🎧 Listen to it here: https://lnkd.in/g6w9aZ4R

🚨 PROUD MOMENT ALERT 🚨 Winnie-the-Pooh: The Deforested Edition has taken home two trophies at the PRWeek Global Awards! 🏆 PR Global Breakthrough 🏆 Global Creative Idea Last year, we updated the illustrations of one of the most loved children's books to reflect the modern world - in particular, the impact of the traditional TP industry on our forests. The Hundred Acre Wood turned into a Zero Acre Wood. The global recognition shows the importance of this message and how simple it is to prevent deforestation - just by switching to eco-friendly products. 🍯 The physical book sold out quickly, but you can download a digital version for free: https://lnkd.in/gDSUHzAJ 🌳 Or watch the case study below: https://lnkd.in/gp4MtnXp Thank you to our agencies Eleven TBWA\Australia, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Fanclub PR.

Wolf of Wall Street, except it's about toilet paper and good impact instead of stocks and greed or whatever. Leonardo DiCraprio is right to be a fan, because we donate 50% of our profits to help provide toilets and clean water in the developing world. So far we've raised AUD $13,378,250, and when you purchase our TP, you’re adding to that tally.

This is a huge win for us, essentially eliminating our emissions from electricity use in the UK, and reducing our carbon footprint by 155 tonnes of CO2e each year. The solar panels offer a long-term solution - as we grow, our emissions won’t. Short-term, our goal is to have all our warehouses globally powered by 100% renewables by the end of FY25.
Today we celebrate our planet, its beauty and diversity, and the need to preserve it. In celebration of this day’s purpose, and as part of our commitment to creating and delivering sustainable supply chains, and to meeting our ambitious ESG goals, we are happy to announce that our largest solar installation to date has now gone live at our 130,000 square foot facility in Doncaster, UK, providing over 60% of our site’s electricity. Launched in close collaboration with our client Who Gives A Crap who shares our drive and commitment to building innovative, sustainable solutions, the continued expansion of our green energy use is part of our foundational pillars to achieve our ambitious sustainability goals.
