Our team attended WaterJam last week in Virginia Beach, Virginia. WRA had several speakers present at the joint annual meeting of the Virginia American Water Works Association and the Virginia Water Environment Association. We enjoyed visiting with colleagues at our client social and are proud to be one of 20 firms who earned a Tidy Otter Award for sustainability. Congratulations to Christoper Walther, City of Lynchburg Water Resources, who won WRA’s rain barrel giveaway!

WRA was excited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ma & Pa Connector Trail – Segment 3. This $8 million, 1.5-mile trail is one of the largest trail projects in Harford County, Maryland and will include over 2,000 feet of elevated boardwalk, a 500-foot fixed span bridge, two prefabricated bridges, and reforestation. We extend special thanks to County Executive Bob Cassilly, the Parks & Recreation team, Director Paul Magness, Project Managers David Goodwin and Angela Hoover, and our construction and design partners for their support and collaboration. WRA’s Calvin Lee and Alex Stipa attended the ceremony.
