Weston is participating in the upcoming Agriculture Career Fair for Fall 2024, being held at the Alumni Center at Auburn University, in Alabama on October 3. Auburn University has consistently been a source of exceptional talent for us, and we have successfully recruited numerous junior members for our air quality team from the university. 🎉 It's #WestonWednesday and today we are highlighting Stefanee Smith, who joined the Weston team 2 years ago! 🌟 Stefanee is one of Weston’s talented Technical Editors. Their role has offered them multiple opportunities for growth and learning, providing them with immense fulfillment. Through reviewing reports and familiarizing themself with the science and innovation conducted by Weston team members in the field, Stefanee has gained a new perspective on the current efforts and investments being provided in support of a greener future. Stefanee loves that their role enables them to provide subject matter expertise on document accessibility for projects requiring Section 508 compliance. They shared:  🔹 "There are so many small ways that we can incorporate accessibility into the work we produce, such as being aware of the colors we use for graphics to be more accessible for those with color blindness or choosing more inclusive language such as using 'the following paragraph' instead of 'the paragraph below' to remove directional terminology for individuals with other vision impairments. Being able to advocate for those changes in support of equity for individuals with disabilities is a major drive for me as an editing professional."
