Intrepid Directional Drilling Specialists is proud to give back to the community! The Intrepid team had the honor of spending time at the West Texas Food Bank, where we helped prepare 656 lunches that will go to elementary schools across the Permian Basin. We believe in supporting not just our industry but also the communities we work and live in, this was a great reminder of how important it is to come together for a good cause. When Libby Stephens, CEO of the West Texas Food Bank, called to tell me about wanting to help her friend’s Manna Food Bank in Asheville, NC, after it was destroyed by flooding from Hurricane Helene, I said, “We’re in.”  I knew West Texans would want to help, and help they did.  Over the past few weeks and during our all-day collection drive today, West Texans donated thousands and thousands of pounds of food and supplies.  Libby’s team will sort everything, then take it to Asheville to help families with little access to food & supplies.   Thanks to everyone who donated and to the First Alert 7 & Telemundo 20 team, who put in a long day to help with the collection drive.  And, thanks to John Bushman for his generous donation of $50,000 to help rebuild the Manna Food Bank.
