We are proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Salute to Veterans and Military Dinner Party and Show, which is being held next Friday, August 2, at VFW Rosenberg. This will be the fifth year of this family friendly community event, which celebrates veterans, surviving spouses and military families. Standard tickets are $20, and $15 for children 12 and under. We had a blast hosting our annual Fried Chicken Competition! Patricia (left) and April (right) fried up their best recipes for our all our employees to taste and judge. Although the competition was fierce, we are proud to congratulate Ms. April on receiving the most votes, and earning bragging rights for the rest of the year! We want to thank both Ms. Patricia and Ms. April for their hard work and dedication during this event. Everyone really enjoyed participating in this delicious and friendly competition!

Edwin Henderson, our Veteran-focused Business Development Rep, has been out in the community dropping off donations in response to last week's hurricane. He was happy to stop by and provide support to our partners at the VA Community Resource and Referral Center in Houston.

As Houston recovers from Hurricane Beryl, you can help us support our community by donating to our Community Disaster Relief Donation Drive. We are collecting new and gently worn clothing, toiletries, bottled water, non-perishables, and any other resources to support those in need.
