Pickleball has become one of the most popular recreational sports in recent years. It's easy for all ages to learn, and it's a ton of fun to play! During the month of September, we held pickleball events for our staff to enjoy some fun and friendly competitive games amongst themselves in teams and singles. It was a great exercise in building camaraderie, relationships, and teamwork amongst our staff. #BeAWarrior

Who doesn't love to take a mental break to enjoy some fun? Latasha, Recreation Therapist, held a 30-minute line dance choreography class to help ease mental stress and promote physical activity for our staff. Employees who were able to take a break and join had a great time learning new moves and grooving to a variety of hip-hop line dance routines! We had a great time participating in this past weekend's Warrior Walk, hosted by Ethel's Love Foundation and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event was focused on breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and raising awareness about suicide prevention efforts in our community.
