Jeremy Bain, a board member of The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, was honored to attend the Night of Impact Gala for The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools. The event raised over $230,000 to make an impact to students in Seminole County Public Schools. All proceeds from this event help provide school supplies for students in need, mentoring, and support for career/technical programs to help students graduate high school ready for college or career. During the event, the Seminole Resilient Community Project and how it is creating positive school climates was described. Over 2,100 students, school staff, and parents participated in workshops to promote healing, empathy, and communication skills, and build strong relationships. Donations support this program and others including essential supplies for our homeless students, mentoring, STEM programs, and college scholarships for deserving students.
