Appreciate our partnership with Ameren Missouri & these recent highlights on their POWERforward Missouri page: A new substation under construction in Foristell, Missouri, will soon deliver more reliable power to the people of St. Charles and Warren counties. The substation and other accompanying upgrades are part of Ameren Missouri’s efforts to modernize the electric grid through its Smart Energy Plan. Located on Veterans Memorial Parkway at Route T, the new substation will serve approximately 2,700 customers between Wright City and Wentzville. Additionally, the new substation increases the electricity capacity in the area, allowing for new growth and supporting projects like a new subdivision under development in Foristell. The project continues Ameren Missouri’s commitment to using in-state suppliers through the Smart Energy Plan. Avail Switchgear Systems of Fulton, Missouri, manufactured four switchgears installed at the site. WEG Transformers USA built the substation’s two new transformers at its facility in Washington, Missouri. #wtu #amerenmo #energyinfrastructure #missourijobs Read more @: https://lnkd.in/gvWMVzHW

Each year WEG Transformers USA is mobilizing the WEG community with one goal in mind and that is supporting the Franklin County Area United Way Campaign. This year we can say that together we have made a positive impact in Franklin County in which we live, work and even raise children. You may know this already through the local newspaper, “United Way campaign breaks record of over $ 1.4 M raised”! The total raised was over more than $100 K over the $1.25 Million goal set by the United Way Franklin County organization and we, The Employees of WEG Transformers USA and Associated Partners, can be very proud as we all helped to contribute to this record-breaking campaign. WEG Transformers USA was honored by being the “Top Contributing Company” – this was the largest single contribution in the local United Way history and you were part of it. In addition, receiving the “Top Contributor Award”, WEG Transformers USA was honored with the “Red Feather Award”. The “Red Feather Award” symbolizes the association with courage and strength that we have shown towards the United Way Franklin County campaign; it goes beyond saying that this is indeed a well-deserved award dedicated to all employees, active- and silent United Way campaigners and all associated partners that help us obtaining this incredible result. Therefore, and with gratitude, WEG Transformers USA wants to say THANK YOU for your generosity and helping all of us achieve our record-breaking contribution of $230,766 to our community. We are proud once again to help create lasting changes that benefit all of us and our community. This particular achievement shows that advancing the common good within our community is something we can all do through giving, advocating and volunteering. In closing we want to say, the WEG community is inspiring hope and creating opportunities for a better tomorrow. Thank you! Marc Schillebeeckx VP Transformers USA
