We are proud to announce we have been awarded an Edison Electric Institute Emergency Assistance Award for our efforts assisting Central Maine Power with restoration from the Nor’easter that hit Maine this past April. EEI's Emergency Response Awards recognize member companies that put forth outstanding efforts to restore service promptly to the public following a storm or natural disaster. A group of our lineworker crews spent nearly five days in York County, Maine in early April to help with restoration efforts after power went out to over 450,000 customers. When the Mutual Aid call went out, our team was one of the first to answer and send crews to this hard hit area. The crews worked on tree damage, broken poles, and downed wires. We applaud this team who worked as safely and efficiently as possible to help restore power for customers in Maine during this storm!
