About us
The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County (WDBVC) is a chief architect of the workforce system and plays a central role in building the talent pipeline for the future. The WDBVC is part of the public workforce system, a network of federal, state, and local offices that support economic expansion and develop the talent of the nation’s workforce. The WDBVC serves as a connector between the U.S. Department of Labor and the America's Job Center of California that deliver services to workers and employers through its signature programs for adults and youth, Ventura County WORKS and Ventura County NextGen. As one of our many functions, the WDBVC facilitates partnerships between local businesses with similar training needs. The WDBVC utilizes labor market information to develop sector strategies that focus resources on a particular high-growth industry for Ventura County. The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County is a proud partner of America’s Job Center of California network. The WDBVC is an equal opportunity employer/program. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities. If you have limitations hearing or speaking dial 711 to reach the California Relay Service (CRS).
