The Notice of Intent to approve the Tyger River Mitigation Bank was issued August 30, 2024! As a result, 544 acres will be protected along the Tyger River, to include 23,000 linear feet of stream preservation and 48,000 linear feet of stream enhancement and restoration. The project incorporates riparian wetland complexes as well. Many thanks to the Bank Sponsor for your patience and many thanks to Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., the Charleston District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the South Carolina Interagency Review Team for all your hard work in getting this one across the finish line. Stream and wetland credits should be available within 60 to 90 days for purchase.

We are excited to announce the approval and initial credit release of our first mitigation bank in Tennessee! High Hood Mitigation Bank, located in the Emory River Watershed (HUC 06010208), was approved for a potential of 2,251.4 stream functional foot credits through the restoration of 7,930 linear feet of streams in Cumberland County. Its initial release of 346.9 stream functional foot credits is available to offset impacts in the Emory River Watershed. The bank can also potentially provide credits to the Lower Clinch (HUC 06010207) and Watts Bar Lake (HUC 06010201), which serves as its secondary service area.
