Last week, WBD proudly served as the presenting sponsor of the New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF), celebrating Latino filmmaking with audiences from September 15 to 22. This year, we hosted a Creatives Mixer that connected filmmakers, writers, and creatives with industry professionals from WBD, along with an advance screening of Women Wearing Shoulder Pads, Adult Swim’s first-ever Spanish-language original. We also partnered with Max and Pa’lante for the festival finale Block Party, featuring a special screening of the first episode of HBO's original series The Penguin, hosted by Afro-Latino actor Rhenzy Feliz. We are honored to support the NYLFF’s mission of cultivating audiences for Latino cinema and highlighting the richness of Latino culture, identities, and experiences.
