Or will you plant your feet firmly on the ground, stake your claim, and do you? Simone Biles did. Suni Lee did. Rebeca Andrade did. Whether you’re in the throes of chaotic growth energy, in that messy middle that calls for patience and reflection, or the beginning stages of your magical journey, stay present, stay brave, stay curious, and know that while no one talks about that cocoon stage, without it, the world would never know butterflies. Read This: The Light She Feels Inside I was so excited to have this new and diverse children’s book to review (with an awesome author interview!): The Light She Feels Inside by Gwendolyn Wallace.   I hadn’t grown up seeing myself in books—and I always felt that absence so deeply, it hurt sometimes. I have never found something that resonated with my inner child so much as this book. Beautifully written, wonderfully illustrated, and perfectly done to show kids it’s ok to be themselves, and sometimes life is hard...but we have so many good people around us, and so much to look up to. I deeply wish I had this book when I was a child, I just know it would’ve come with me everywhere I went. Highly, highly recommended! https://lnkd.in/gEc63_fs
