    Curated my first Wana Brands wellness experience this past weekend and wow what a feeling. I was uhaul truck driver, curator, host, backup singer, comedian, moderator, volunteer organizer and everything in between to ensure that Saturday’s rainy day Reflection: Community Care allowed a full house of humans at Ideal Glass Studios to release, regenerate and restore energetically in an intimate and intentional setting. Enhanced by wana's quick gummies, immersed in Weed Auntie healing experiences led by Liana Naima and Dr. Elizabeth with melodic frequencies by Treya Lam, education by Duclas M. Charles, PharmD all powered by Polanco brother's / Torches NY dispensary - our interdependence was realized through the radical act of a reciprocal collective care practice. Still receiving notes of appreciation from attendees who appreciatted the opportunity to journal, sit in sound bath, sample product, and connect with like-minded individuals. I can't wait to hear about Wana's new e-commerce platform, Wanderous - I'm sure that'll be a hot topic for all the product manufacturers in the room. ***Friendly reminder to book your flights!     We're pumped to host Joe Hodas, President of Wana Brands at The Tipping Point, Texas! A top international brand, Wana's products continue to dominate in 20 states, 9 Canadian provinces and territories and Puerto Rico. Wana's products are in 3,000 stores with ~$300M annually in retail sales. Fun fact, Joe's a graduate of UT and in his words is "pumped to hit his old stomping grounds!"     As the ☀️ sets on another memorable Summer, we want to take a moment to Thank everyone who joined us in making the past few months amazing. From engaging pop-ups and appearances to mindful meditations and plenty of promising meetings, we’ve shared countless moments together, brought to life by the amazing support of our partners. July took Flower Girl to Chicago for Black CannaBusiness’ Conference & Expo where we partnered with Wana Brands for an impactful Wellness Oasis. Conference attendees responded enthusiastically to our activation as well as the first Flower Girl merch and swag pop up store. The doors of Ivy Hall Dispensary opened to us in August as we partnered on a series of high energy pop-ups. We’ve also partnered with Leafwell to provide our community with information, resources and access…being tailor made for, and available directly to, our members. To put it simply, We’ve Been Busy… …and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve spent the last month in meetings - planning our next round of products, partnerships, and experiences… and we can’t wait to share what’s next!     Congratulations to Mike Hennesy, the newest member of the CSU-Pueblo Institute of Cannabis Research Board! 👏 The ICR serves as Colorado’s official cannabis research institute, conducting research projects guided by an board of appointed scientists, educators, and industry leaders. In addition to developing innovative new products for Wana, Mike has played a key role in influencing Colorado's cannabis policy by advocating for practical consumer protection regulations.     Programming Manager at Downtown Detroit Partnership

    What an incredible evening we had at The Beach at Campus Martius Park for our final beach party of the season—Girl’s Night Out, presented by Wana Brands and Capital One Café! 🥳 The event was an incredible way to wrap up our season, with DJ Skeez keeping the energy high and the tunes spinning on the MGM Grand Detroit Stage! 🪩 It was wonderful to see so many women supporting small businesses with fabulous finds from H Cubed Candles and Halie and Co., while the FREE make-and-take makeup bags added a creative touch to the night. 💄👛 We also enjoyed the excitement of raffles, with lucky winners walking away with fantastic prizes donated by our partners. 🛍️ A big thank you to everyone who has joined us for our programming at The Beach at Campus Martius this year—your support has made each event memorable and vibrant!
